THE FOOTBALL LEGENDS - (an ongoing project) T-Shirt collection of the great players who were,
or still are, so original that they deserve to be remembered by their nicknames.

LEONIDAS DA SILVA, THE BLACK DIAMOND - Leonidas, alias Black Diamond, is the inventor
of the bicycle kick. In the World Cup 1938 Brazil's manager keeps him on the bench in the semifinal against Italy: "We are saving him for the final." But Brazil loses 2-1 and the final never comes. Leonidas was a great scorer and so admired in his country that a Brazilian chocolate
manufacturer created a bar Diamante Negro (Black Diamond) in his honor.

FABIO CAPELLO, THE LITTLE PROFESSOR - During his playing days at Juventus, Capello was called The Little Professor because of his love for philosophy, Fellini movies and art. The creative centre midfielder played 32 times for Italy. He is particularly remembered for scoring a goal when Italy beat England 1-0 for the first time in its history in 1973. The goal didn't stop Capello from becoming the coach for England's national team in 2008.
